The recent announcement by Dole has a nasty effect beyond the disruption of the employee's lives, as its been reported that Dole's lease with the Campbell Estate's requires that "The lands be returned to original condition" prior to quit.
I am concerned that the whole-sale plowing of the pineapple fields by heavy equipment, as shown on the evening news such as KITV, has the potential to result in CONSIDERABLE coral silting, should we have any appreciable runoff scenarios. Remember last winter's rains?
Are there any known actions being pursued to insure an ecologically sound process?

Peter,
I recently heard the Corny has passed away. Sorry to hear that.
I have a question... on my website:
http://atomicbride.com/surfaberg.html
I thought that was you in the photos but someone said it was Corny...
Can you confirm which one of you is pictured there?
Thanks, Tom McBride
